Get Healthy Skin and Regular Exercise for Your Wellbeing!

It’s one thing to Get Healthy Skin, but for that feeling of total wellbeing and feeling content with yourself, getting regular exercise and having a healthy diet certainly compliments having glowing healthy skin through a good skin care routine.

My exercise equipment test continues into day 20

I previously mentioned how I was putting a certain exercise machine to the test to see if the outcomes promised were in fact correct. I have been diligently using the machine for twenty days. I started out using the exercise equipment for five to ten minutes both morning and night, and after the first ten days, was noticing a definate firming in my back. This actually ’spurred’ me on to push myself more as I started to see the results through my body shape. Mind you, I still have a fair way to go. So I stepped up my exercise routine by using the exercise machine for twenty minutes both morning and night. Like I said, what’s the point to Get Healthy Skin if you feel lousy about your body shape.

After day twenty

I have continued to notice a considerable firmness and toning of muscles across my back and have actually developed a waistline again! Noticing this difference has inspired me even further, and after a four day break, during which I was actually away at a conference,  and I am now managing to do twenty to twenty five minutes in the morning and evenings.

Toning up my body inspires me to eat more healthy

A funny thing I’ve noticed is this…. As I continue to see a vast improvement in my body shape, I feel less inclined to eat junk or ’sugary’ foods as I don’t want to undo the good work that is being done by the exercise equipment. Another thing I’ve noticed is that as I become more inspired by my ‘renewed’ body shape, the desire to keep up my skin care routine, and Get Healthy Skin also increases. Hence, I am starting to feel much happier seeing myself in the mirror, and enjoy getting dressed up again.

So, I’m looking forward to seeing my results, and reporting to you how I think the exercise equipment is shaping up in terms of the promises made!

So take care, and I’ll catch you again soon after day thirty on the exercise machine.

Cheers!

Skin Care Beauty and exercise equipment – What have they got in common?

You may be looking at the above title and scratching your head, wondering if I’ve lost my marbles! But what good is Skin Care Beauty – having great looking skin…. if you hate your body shape!

Let me explain where I am going with the above statement. I’ve put a lot of time and effort over the past few months pampering my face with a Skin Care Beauty routine, and taking great care to make sure I was using the best product for my skin type. Hence the switch to using certified organic skin care products, to get the best results from my daily skin care routine, resulting in a noticable improvement.  But due to the everyday demands, that we as women endure, my exercise routine had somehow disappeared out the door.

You are what you eat!

Heard that saying before? I bet you have! Well I have discovered that to be pretty true, especially when you start to get into the more mature age group. You can get away with so much more when you are younger. But these days, I find that what I eat, especially if it’s ‘junk’, or even just sugary, seems to reflect almost immediately in my ‘body shape’. Just over twelve months ago I took very specific measures – regular diet and exercise, and got back to a weight, and body shape I was happy with. So for me, researching ways to achieve a better Skin Care Beauty was a natural follow up to my ‘new found’ slimness. Now I’m not saying you all have to do the same, but for me, it was important to keep and look fit. But after reaching my ‘perfect weight’ I slacked off and stopped being so consious of what I was putting into my mouth, and gradually the weight started to slip back on.

What was the answer?

So here I was improving my skin, but at the same time, was becoming less satisfied with my body shape again. That’s when I saw an ad on television for a certain type of exercise equipment. So deciding that this was my answer, I ordered one. Now I have read all the ‘good, bad and ugly’ stories on the internet about this exercise machine, and so here’s my thoughts on the subject. I decided to give it a go, and test out the promises they say their exercise equipment will achieve for you.

How to Procranstinate

For about three months after getting my exercise equipment, I found excuses not to use it much – no time, too tired, too busy, rather be outside, and the list goes on and on and on! Anyway, exactly ten days ago, I made a commitment to myself to use my exercise equipment every morning and every night for ten minutes. What’s more, I decided to document it in my diary, kind of to make myself accountable. Well, I have to tell you, that after five days I started to notice the muscles in my back firming up. So that inspired me to try a little harder, and so for the past three days, I have done fifteen minutes in the morning and again at night. I honestly am noticing an improvement daily, but will be very interested to take note of the results after using it regularly for thirty days.

Be an overcomer!

Some other people have mentioned a few problems with this exercise equipment, like being hard on your knees, but I found a way to overcome that by sticking some foam padding on the knee pads.  I did initially have a problem with slipping, but with a bit of practice, I stay on much better now. Sometimes it just takes a little thought and determination to overcome obstacles. So if this exercise equipment turns out to be an answer to keeping fit and toned, it will certainly compliment my Skin Care Beauty routine, as I will feel an all round satisfaction with both body shape and the state of my skin from using my certified organic skin care products. Of course sensible diet also goes along with exercise, and good skin care routines, for that ‘whole wellbeing’ feeling.

So, having just completed day ten of using this exercise equipment, I am looking forward to bringing you progress reports of how I am going, or should I say how my body shape is going, over the next couple of weeks. Hopefully I will be able to report a great success!

Until next time – cheers!

Making Lip Balm

Ever wanted to make your own homemade lip balm? Then you need to keep reading! Making your own lip gloss could be easier than you think! All you need to do is find a good lip balm recipe.

If you are concerned about what you are putting on your skin, how about looking into making some of your own makeup and skin care products? Most of us probably think we don’t have time to make our own organic skin care products, and some really just don’t.  But it could be worth just having a look at what it takes to make some of your own products. So why not start with something simple like Making Lip Balm? Seems a simple enough concept.

So, off I went to YouTube to have a look at what I could find, and below is my results.

Where do I get the ingredients?

Now I wasn’t so sure that it was as easy as it looks. Now that list  of ingredient required looked like  fairly sizable, and I wasn’t convinced that they would be that easy to find. For starters, I’m not too keen on the idea of chasing down a swarm of bees to get their honey, let alone wax off their legs. And I’m not too sure about ‘beeting’ up some juice…. ouch!  Then guess what I discovered! You can buy most of these ingredients online anyway. The rest you would most likely have in your pantry!

Lip Balm discovery of the year!

Then I found this great video clip showing how to make organic lip balm, and let me tell you, I was impressed! It’s basically quick and easy to make, with two simple ingredients that would be easily obtainable, and you add a touch of your favourite essential oil to finish off.

Now is that good, or is that good!

Well I’m off to order the ingredients this lip balm recipe. Feel free to have a go at Making Lip Balm too, and when you come back, we can compare results. Hope it’s yummy!

Cheers, and have a great week

Organic Facial Products – Expert Exposes Harmful Chemicals!

Skin Care Expert Exposes Harmful Chemicals in Skin Care Productseyes and Explains the Benefits of Natural Organic Facial Products.

How many times have you thought to yourself, if I had my time all over again, I’d do things differently? Especially when it comes to our skin care. In hindsight, it’s easy to think I would have kept out of the sun more, or I would have used sunscreen.

But if you have  already gone through half your life, or more, what can you do about the state of your skin now? How much do we know and understand about Organic Facial Products? Do natural organic products really have any benefits over synthetic and chemical based products?

Obviously, we can’t undo the damage we have done to our skin, but we can certainly go a long way towards helping repair through a good skin care routine.

Expert Advice Readily Available

I happened to come across a clip the other day which I found really interesting.  Dr. Domanskis, an experienced plastic surgeon, is an authority in the following areas:

  • Treating thousands of women’s skin care problems as a result of:
    • Surgery
    • Allergies
    • Aging
    • Smoking
  • Skin care developer
  • Use of certified organic ingredients
  • His own line of natural Organic Facial Products.
  • Extensive research into chemicals contained in skin care products.
  • Circle of green certification
  • USAD certified board

Take a look at his story, and see why he created a skin care range that contains pure, safe and natural certified organic ingredients that nuture and rejuvenate your skin, giving it a healthy appearance.

Dr. Domanskis has certainly taken a lot of time and care to produce a product that contains certified Organic ingredients that are safe to use on your skin.

I think that anything that is safe and natural in the line of skin care products, in particular Organic Facial Products, is certainly worth our attention and worth further investigation.

Organic Skin Care – Certified Organic Facts Revealed

Certified Organic Skin Care Ingredients – The Truth Revealed!

Is there any real, genuine benefit in using Organic Skin Care Products in our daily skin cleaning routine?
In today’s society, where there is so much emphasis put on the use of natural products, reducing pollution, caring for our environment etc, more and more women are looking for skin care and cosmetics that have either natural or organic ingredients. Can the two be separated? Natural products and organic products? Breaking down that question even more, one could ask if there is a comparison between products that are labelled as having organic ingredients, and those claiming to be ‘certified organic’.

What Are We Being Lead To Believe?

I used to believe, if a product claimed to be ‘organic’ on the label, (and I could be called gullible here), that I was purchasing a product that contained purely organic ingredients.  Seems I was, probably like a lot of people, mislead!
However, during chats with my daughter, a qualified skin care therapist, on the topic of organic products, and after using some of the skin care range used where she works, I now have a definate ‘passion’ for products containing ‘certified organic’ ingredients.
The problem is, there are many products on the market these days, that are labelled ‘organic’, or ‘natural organic’.  There is a very big difference however, between products that are labelled ‘organic’, and products containing ‘certified organic ingredients’.

Certified Organic Registration Boards

Something that is organic is basically a natural product.  But for something to be genuinely organic, it must have a minimum of 75% certified organic ingredients.  This means the farms that grow the raw produce that goes into organic ingredients, whether it be for food, skin care or any other form of organic based product, has to undergo a very intense process to be registered with a board. For example, in Australia, one of the boards that can register a produce farm as certified organic farm, is the Organic Food Chain.
There are a number of boards that producers of organic ingredients can be registered through. Only if, the ingredients in an organic product comes from a producer who is registered with one of the organic boards, can that product be labelled as ‘Certified Organic’.

What Are You, The Consumer, Really Getting In Your Organic Skin Care Products?

So what does that mean for us, as consumers? Does it matter whether the products we buy are labelled organic, natural organic, or certified organic?  Well it comes down to the old saying, ‘you get what you pay for!’  Whether it is organic meat, vegetables, hair products or skin care ranges, it still comes down to the same thing. You need to take particular notice of the wording on the packaging.  If you want genuine organic products, then you should be looking for ones that are labelled ‘certified organic’ rather than those that are merely labelled as ‘organic’ or natural.  Some organic products may state that they are made from 100% naturally derived ingredients. That is simply telling you that they have no synthetic, or chemical ingredients in them.

Whats Your Choice?

So what’s important to you, in your choice of products?  Is it certified organic? Or are you happy to go for the cheap alternative and fill your skin, body with chemical substitutes.
Remember, not everything labelled ‘natural’ or ‘organic’ is the same as a product labelled ‘certified organic’ so be aware that cheaper products may not be the ‘genuine deal’.
